The bold red infusion has an aroma of spicy chili, baked fruit, cinnamon, cloves, and ginger. The taste is spice-filled and warming with no notable astringency and a kick of chili spice at the finish.
All the spices in this black tea blend came through well in flavor and aroma. The chili added a pleasant warming sensation without being unpleasantly spicy. The fullest flavor was in the first two infusions with minimal change in flavor, aroma, and liquor color. This blend was well named because it is definitely a cozy autumn tea.
