Chagashi of the Week: Inoko Mochi
This week's tea sweet is Inoko Mochi (Baby Boar Cake). Like most wagashi, Inoko Mochi is seasonal and makes its appearance in Japan during the month of November to celebrate Inoko no Hi (November 22nd). For tea ceremony, it is usually served at Robiraki, the opening of the hearth.
