First Snow

Recently, we had a light snowfall in Tacoma (and Seattle) overnight which melted by the following afternoon.  Since I am a snow person at heart, I had promised myself that I would have tea outside during the first snow at my new home.  While the snow was quickly melting, I bundled up and set out a fresh pot of tea, warming my hands with the teacup, enjoying the peaceful atmosphere, and watching the round little snow birds play among the tree branches.
