The dry leaves have a heady aroma of jasmine flowers with faint wood notes.
The infusion is golden orange with a smoky jasmine aroma. The taste is floral with a tart, fruity finish.
I was surprised by the smoky aroma which may have been a result of the leaf drying process. It was unexpected, but a nice complement to the jasmine aroma. The flowery aroma and taste were bold, though not overpowering. This was quite pleasant and I do not recommend steeping more than once as additional infusions have nothing more to offer.
