The physical location for Churchmouse Yarns & Teas closed on August 31, 2020 and the business (yarns and tea) has moved entirely online.
Churchmouse Yarns & Teas is located on Madrone Lane North in downtown Bainbridge Island.
As the name suggests, Churchmouse specializes in yarns and you would be hard pressed to find a color or texture they don't carry. During my visit, they were hosting a knitting workshop and hearing everyone talk about their current projects has inspired me to take on a few future crafting projects of my own.
In addition to yarns, Churchmouse offers a nice selection of teas and teaware.
Their tea selection ranges from well-recognized English and Russian blends to local favorites, available in loose leaf or tea bags. They also offer a number of food items like biscuits, shortbread, and preserves, to complement your tea time.
Smith Teamaker has created seasonal tea blends just for Churchmouse and I couldn't resist taking home their Autumn blend along with some preserves. I'm looking forward to stopping in again to stock up during my next visit to Bainbridge!
