Tea Review: Jani Dhahabu (Phoenix Tea)

Type: Oolong
Origin: Kenya
Product Description:  A beautiful, full-bodied oolong with a mouth-filling caramel character typical of Kenyan teas.

Temperature: 195° F
Amount: 3 grams
Steeping Time: 3 minutes

The dry leaves have a sweet aroma of raspberries, white grapes, and almonds.

The orange amber infusion has a sweet, heady aroma of warm fruit and baked squash with nut, caramel, and floral notes. The taste is sweet, fruity, nutty, and lightly astringent with a long fruity finish.

Three steepings resulted in full-flavored and aromatic results and I would expect to get several more fine cups from one serving of this tea.
