The Tea Zone & Camellia Lounge

The Tea Zone & Camellia Lounge Closed and moved to online tea sales in 2016.

The Tea Zone & Camellia Lounge is located in Portland's Pearl District on NW 11th Avenue between NW Hoyt and NW Glisan Streets.

The front room offers limited seating with plenty of natural light.  A wide variety of loose leaf teas are available for purchase, as well as a selection of teaware and gifts.  My favorite decorative element is a map of most of the world's tea producing regions on a pillar near the lounge entrance.

The lounge offers comfortable seating and intimate lighting and is open to all ages until evening.  The lounge's cocktail bar menu includes tea infused drinks which may merit a return visit.  Be sure to check out their Facebook page for an up-to-date live music schedule.

Place to-go orders at the counter or take a seat at a table and menus will be provided.

Do note that the menu does not necessarily reflect what you will receive.  I discovered that lemon curd and jam do not come with scones unless specifically requested for an additional fee.  Allow extra time for food as some items take a while to prepare.  My warm, delicious scone had a twenty minute wait during which I was able to enjoy a pot of Shui Hsien oolong tea.
