The dry leaves have an aroma of sweet cream and chestnuts.
The liquor is dark red with a rich aroma of sweet cream and chestnuts. The taste is bold with notes of chestnuts and cream with moderate astringency.
While steeping for 2 minutes brought out the best flavor for my preferences, a longer steeping time may appeal to those who prefer something more bold.
