Tea Review: Apple Autumn Spice (Afternoon To Remember)

Apple Autumn Spice
Afternoon to Remember
Type: Flavored Black
Origin: Not Provided
Product Description: Apple Autumn Spice is a unique blend of apple, cinnamon, cloves, cardamom and pepper. It's like drinking fall in a cup! Try it with a little sugar.

Temperature: 208° F
Amount: 3 grams
Steeping Time: 3 minutes

The dry leaves are blended with ginger, cinnamon, cloves, cardamom, vanilla, pepper, and apple flavor.

The infusion is orange with an aroma that reminds me of hot apple pie. Apples, cinnamon, and cloves were the most noticeable flavors.

This tea is warm, spicy, and refreshing. It's quite good when steeped at 3 minutes, but can go beyond 5 minutes without becoming too astringent or losing character. A second steeping is only slightly weaker and still enjoyable. This tea doesn't need anything to improve the flavor, though I did also try it with a sprinkling of sugar which was also nice. After preparing the tea, I left the infused leaves out for a while and it filled the room with a pleasant aroma.

An Afternoon to Remember will no longer sell tea after May 6, 2016. Inspirations Tea Room will begin selling the same tea blends after May 24, 2016.

This tea was provided as a free sample without guarantee of a review.
