The dry leaves have a sweet aroma of grass, oats, and carnations.
The pale green infusion has a lightly toasty green aroma with a hint of flowers. The taste is light toasty green with no astringency.
This was a sample that did not come with any background information. It was surprisingly light in flavor and aroma and reminded me of a mellow Dragonwell. The floral notes that were faint in the first two steepings really began to stand out by the third steeping. I would expect to get at least two to three more good cups with increasing aroma and flavor.
