Steeping Time: 3 minutes
The dry leaf aroma is spicy with notes of dried plum.
The red infusion has an aroma of tart fruit with a moderately astringent flavor and a clean chestnutty finish.
While this had the astringency I would expect from black teas of this region, I was pleased to find that it is quite enjoyable and flavorful on its own. One steeping is all you will need to extract the full flavor.
