Tea Review: Rundu Black (Phoenix Tea)

Type:  Black
Origin:  Kenya
Product Description:  A smooth, classic black tea from Kenya, named after the Rundu river, which flows along the base of Mount Kenya, where this tea is grown.

Temperature: 208° F
Amount: 3 grams
Steeping Time: 3 minutes

The dry leaf aroma reminds me of sweet dark-brown bread.

The infusion is bright red with a warm fruity aroma and taste, mild astringency, and a dry finish.

Though this tea would take well to a touch of milk, the flavor of the first infusion is great on its own.
