The dry leaves have a floral, nutty, spicy, honey aroma.
The orange-red infusion has an aroma of honey and nuts with light floral notes. The taste is sweet and honey-like with a long sweet finish.
This tea provided full-bodied, delicious results through three steepings without a noticeable weakening of either flavor or aroma. I was pleasantly surprised to encounter this black tea with little or no astringency and the results reminded me just a little of dessert.
