Tea Review: Sun Moon Lake (Cameron)

Sun Moon Lake
Cameron
Type:  Black
Origin:  Taiwan, Sun Moon Lake
Product Description:  Sun Moon Lake is located at altitude of 700m, surrounded with mountains and lakes with remarkable environment and typical climate. Heavy moist and stable yearly average temperature make the tea trees grow thick and rich tea leaves which produce carmine and perfectly clear liquor.

Temperature: 202° F
Amount: 2 grams
Steeping Time: 3 minutes

The dry leaves have an aroma of fruit and brown sugar.

The infusion is coppery red with an aroma of baked fruit, warm honey, and a hint of cinnamon.  The taste is sweet and fruity with a long fruity finish.

One teabag produced three flavorful and aromatic infusions.  While I generally do not review teabag samples,  I was intrigued by the quality of the leaves and the teabag provided more than enough room for the leaves to expand while not interfering in the steeping process.

This tea was provided as a free sample without guarantee of a review.
