The infusion is dark red with a buttery and spicy aroma of citrus, vanilla, cinnamon, and a touch of potpourri. The taste is smooth and sweet with notes of vanilla and citrus, the light tang of rooibos, a pinch of cinnamon, and a hint of flowers.
Aside from a few of the usual holiday spices, I wasn't sure how this could remind me of Christmas and yet it does. It smells like spiced pinecones, fruitcake and holiday potpourri. The first two infusions are pleasantly flavorful and smooth.
