The dry leaves have an aroma of wood smoke and salt.
The copper red infusion has an aroma of wood smoke and salt with a hint of sweetness. The taste is smoky and smooth with a long, mellow, smoky finish.
The dry aroma and aftertaste reminded me distinctly of some of my favorite smoked foods. While the full flavor is in the first infusion, a second and third infusion are also enjoyable if considerably lighter in flavor.
