The deep red infusion has a spicy and sweet aroma with notes of baked fruit, anise, and dates. The taste is richly sweet and spicy.
This tea had a curious yet pleasant finish that reminded me of licorice in feel, though not in flavor. The best flavor is in the first two infusions.
