Product Description: All Golden Bud teas are not created equal and this is a large-leaf version that is quite different from my other GB. It is complex and naturally sweet with cocoa and citrus notes on the front, finishing with a lovely honey expression. This tea easily steeps two times and with patience, probably three.
Temperature: 208° F
Amount: 3 grams
Steeping Time: 3 minutes
The dry leaves have a sweet aroma with notes of grapes, oats, honey, and a hint of wood.
The copper red infusion has an aroma of sweet oats, dark bread, honey, and a hint of cocoa. The taste is sweet and savory with notes of mixed grains, and honey with a prune-like finish.
The best results are in the first two infusions which are delightfully rich and flavorful.
