The dry leaf aroma has notes of lychee and nut shells.
The golden liquor has a thick, rich aroma with fruity, buttery, and nutty notes. The mildly astringent flavor has tart notes that reminded me of tropical fruit, a hint of flowers, and a long semi-tart fruity finish.
The aroma of this oolong is entirely decadent. The color deepened following the first infusion and the flavor and aroma mellowed by the third infusion. This would do very well prepared gongfu style, using a small brewing vessel and more leaf.
