Tea Review: Three Spot Guanyin (White2Tea)

Three Spot Guanyin
Type: Oolong
Origin: China
Product Description:
A blend of three different Fujian oolong productions, with our sights set on excellent value for a daily oolong with enough oomph to power you through your day and enough complexity of aroma and flavor to keep you thoroughly engaged throughout a a session. Deceptively priced given the quality of the blend.
Temperature: 195° F
Amount: 3 grams
Steeping Time: 3 minutes

The dry leaves have an aroma of roasted nut shells.

The light yellow infusion has a buttery and roasty aroma with notes of sweet cream and buttered popcorn.  The taste is velvety and buttery with lightly floral and nutty notes and a long nutty, buttery finish with hints of peach.

This was flavorful and delicious throughout three infusions with slight mellowing in flavor after the first.  I was pleasantly surprised by the buttery popcorn-like aroma.
