Tea Review: Wolfman (Friday Afternoon)

Wolfman
Friday Afternoon
Type: Flavored Green
Origin: Not provided
Product Description:
Awooooooo! This rugged woodsy cuppa will have you howling at the moon. Szechuan buzz tingles the skin while blood orange and cinnamon appeal to the keen of nose. Brew boldly for a thick liquor you can really sink your teeth into!
Temperature: 195° F
Amount: 3 grams
Steeping Time: 5-7 minutes

The dry leaf blend includes roasted green tea stems, blood orange, burdock root, szechuan peppercorns, marigold petals, and natural cinnamon flavoring.

The golden amber infusion has a spicy aroma with notes of earthy roots, cinnamon, and citrus.  The taste has notes of earth and root veg (I was reminded of potato skins), cinnamon, and a hint of citrus.

I had great results from steeping this tea for 5 minutes then adding a minute with each infusion after.  The flavor and aroma held up nicely throughout three infusions with the light citrus notes becoming more pronounced as the infusions got lengthier.

This tea was purchased by me.
