The dry leaves have an aroma of honey, flowers, and oats, with notes of a fragrant wood similar to paulownia.
The infusion is golden with an aroma of honey, flowers, and sweet persimmon. The taste is honey and lightly floral, sweet and lightly savory with no astringency.
The first infusion was full of flavor and aroma. Subsequent infusions had a bolder golden color, but much lighter flavor and aroma. I was only given a small 2.5 gram sample, so this may have had more to offer with more leaves.
