The dry leaves have an aroma of honey, wheat, and berries.
The red infusion has an aroma of sweet warm wheat, honey, and dates. The taste is lightly tangy and sweet with notes of honey, toasted wheat, dates, and a hint of bourbon.
The first infusion was rich, full-bodied, and flavorful. I enjoyed it at 208° F and would expect great results with slightly lower temperatures (195° F). A second and third infusion produced significantly lighter flavor and aroma.
