The dry leaves have an aroma of cut green vine, fragrant seasoned wood, nut shells, and stone fruit.
The infusion is dark red with a sweet, fruity, smoky aroma. The taste is tangy and mildly astringent with a long smoky citrus finish.
The color, aroma, and finish on this tea are very intriguing and I would be interested to compare this with a larger leaf tea from the same estate.
