The dry leaves have a sweet aroma of muscatel/muscat grapes and oats.
The orange amber infusion has an aroma and taste of muscatel and honey with floral notes and a velvety finish.
While the first infusion had a hint of citrus, additional infusions took on pronounced floral notes. This was a happy marriage of the aroma and flavor I would expect in both Darjeeling and Oriental Beauty with rich characteristics that remained throughout several steepings.
