Tea Review: Wooricha Organic (Dobra Tea)

Wooricha Organic
Dobra Tea
Type: Black
Origin: South Korea, Jirisan
Product Description:
Fully fermented tea from the family farm of master Cho, which is like the green Nokcha plucked and processed exclusively by hand. The gardens where the tea is collected lie in the higher positions of the Jiri Shan Mountains. Wooricha means “home-made tea”. A taste of cocoa can be found in the flavor.
Temperature: 208° F
Amount: 3 grams
Steeping Time: 1-2 minutes

The dry leaves have a rich aroma of cocoa and sweet brown bread.

The golden amber infusion has a richly sweet aroma with notes of cocoa, butter, honey, and a faint hint of asparagus.  The taste is rich with notes of cocoa and sweet bread with a long, sweet finish.

The flavor, aroma, and aftertaste of this black tea gave the sense of a having enjoyed a decadent dessert without added flavoring or the accompanying dietary guilt.

This tea was purchased by me.
