This blend contains black tea, rhubarb flavor, cream flavor, and strawberry flavor.
The liquor is dark red and the rhubarb and strawberries come through in the aroma, alongside dried fruit and dark bread. The taste is malty and fruity with moderate astringency.
The flavor of this tea was like eating a slice of dark fruit cake while sipping Assam. As this was my first encounter with rhubarb flavoring in tea, I was pleasantly surprised to pick up on it right away. The best flavor is in the first infusion.
