Tea Review: Citron Jar Black Tea

Citron Jar Black Tea
Boseong Woonhae Tea Plantation/보성운해녹차
Type: Flavored Black
Origin: South Korea, Boseong
Product Description: Not provided.

Temperature: 208° F
Amount: 3 grams
Steeping Time: 3 minutes

The tea leaves have been stored inside a citron, so the sweet citrus aroma is as expected.

The coppery orange liquor has a sweet citrus aroma and taste, mildly tangy with a long, sweet, and lightly citrus finish.

I did not include any of the citron peel with the leaves when I brewed this tea.  The flavor of the first steeping was delicious and reminded me just a bit of marmalade.  I do recommend adding some peel in by the second steeping to experience the full flavor and aroma as the citrus notes fade quickly after the first steeping.  This was purchased at World Tea Expo and is not listed on the retail site.  Hopefully, this will make its way onto the online market.

This tea was purchased by me.
