Rose city black tea is also known in China as Meigui Hongcha. The tea is scented in the traditional way: by layering red rose petals and tea leaves during drying. Once the right quality has been achieved, they are separated by sieving. This Chinese Rose Tea has a smooth and malty flavor, with a balanced bouquet of rose.Temperature: 208° F

The aroma of the dry leaf blend is abloom with roses.
The copper red liquor has a perfume-like rose aroma while the taste is sweet and mildly astringent with rose notes throughout.
This tea blend was a celebration of roses! I was pleasantly surprised by the sweetness and that the rose flavor wasn't overwhelming. The first infusion provided the fullest flavor with a notably mellower second infusion. I rather enjoyed the sweetness that developed by the third infusion.
