Arum Tea
Type: Black
Origin: Indonesia
Product Description: Not provided.
Amount: 3 grams
Steeping Time: 3 minutes
The dry leaves have an aroma of wheat, hay, and nuts with a hint of black pepper.
The infusion is orange amber with an aroma of buttery caramel, green vine, and faint fruity notes. The taste is smooth and rich, almost sweet with light notes of green vine.
This appears to be a full leaf variation on the Java Nirvana I reviewed recently. There are similarities in flavor and aroma, but the differences make tasting both versions worthwhile. Three steepings of the long form leaf version continued to produce buttery caramel aroma notes and no astringency throughout.
This tea was provided as a free sample without guarantee of a review.
