The dry leaf aroma has nutty and sharp green notes with an unexpected hint of sweet cocoa.
The light yellow infusion has a deeply nutty aroma with green vegetable notes. The taste is smooth with notes of nuts and green vegetables and a long sweet green finish.
The dry leaf aroma was like opening a fresh tin of nuts. The flavor and aroma notes were consistently nutty and green throughout three infusions with no astringency. I worried this tea might have aged out as it's from the Spring 2020 harvest, yet it was delightfully flavorful and well worth drinking today.
