Tea Review: Yanhong Black Tea (White2Tea)

Yanhong Black Tea
Type: Black
Origin: China, Fujian Province
Product Description:
An affordable black tea with luscious aromas and flavors, packed into a complex drinking experience that shines with any style of brewing. Ideal for those in need of a daily black tea that balances high quality and reasonable price.
 Temperature: 195° F
Amount: 3 grams
Steeping Time: 3 minutes

The dry leaves have a sweet-tart citrus-like aroma that reminded me of lemon zest.

The bright orange liquor has a nutty and buttery aroma with notes of roasted squash and a hint of citrus.  The taste is mildly astringent and velvety with floral and green vine notes and a long finish.

While brewing at 208° F had good results with mild astringency and prominent floral notes, I found that brewing at 195° F brought out delicious roasty, nutty and roasted squash notes.
